Are you looking for the perfect rug for your space? The size of the room shouldn't always dictate the size of the rug. When chosen correctly, it can bring disparate elements together and bring harmony to the room. Rugs are also perfect for achieving balance in asymmetrical spaces and for defining areas within open-plan spaces.

Lounge

In both large and small seating areas, rugs are very beneficial, as they help delineate different spaces and provide greater comfort to the overall environment. We suggest opting for large rugs that complement the furniture; if the rug doesn't cover at least the length of the main sofa, it can feel out of proportion to the space.

Dining room

The size of the mat should be appropriate to the table, preferably a little larger, to prevent the back legs of chairs from sticking out of the mat when someone is sitting.

Remember that each person takes up approximately 75 cm of space. Therefore, the rug should be about 1 meter longer than the table on each side.

Kitchen
